The bilateral cooperation programme between Latvia and Ukraine in the field of science and technology was launched on the basis of the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Latvia and the Government of Ukraine signed in Kiev on 21 November 1995, with the aim of promoting cooperation between Latvia and Ukraine in the fields of scientific research and technological development.
