The 5G Techritory - the platform for partnerships took place from October 30-31 October 2024 in Riga, Latvia. Over the course of two days, 5G's leading minds congregated to put together some of the world’s most comprehensive content regarding the main topic ‘Technology Shaping Tomorrow’s Territory’.

University of Latvia FST Institute of Atomic Physics and Spectroscopy took part in ‘The Innovation Showcase: Prototypes, Posters, and Possibilities’ and presented research findings ‘Dermatology system for whole-body spectral imaging at fiberoptic illumination’ (by Jānis Spīgulis, Edgars Kviesis-Kipge, Uldis Rubīns, Ilze Irbe, Inga Saknīte), ‘White laser illumination system for endoscopy’ (by Jānis Spīgulis, Edgars Kviesis-Kipge, Uldis Rubīns, Ilze Irbe) and ‘Innovative bio-binders with improved antioxidant and self-healing properties by partially replacing crude oil bitumen with lignin’ (by R.Viter, et al)
